Can I change my booking? When do I have to pick up my rental equipment? The answers to these and many other questions can be found in our FAQ section, presented in a clearly structured fashion to ensure an undisturbed skiing holiday in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis destination.

 

01 •WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ONLINE RENTAL?

Our online rental service allows you to save time and money: conveniently fill in the online form from home and enjoy more time on holiday, as well as a 10% discount.

 

02 • DO I GET THE DISCOUNT ALSO IF I CHOOSE TO PAY FOR THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT IN THE SHOP? 

The 10% discount is available only for online bookings and advance payments..

 

03 • IS IT ALSO POSSIBLE TO BOOK STORAGE SPACE ONLINE?
Yes. Our online rental service is also available to book storage space. However, the discount is only valid for ski equipment, not for the depot.

 

04 • IS THE ONLINE RENTAL SERVICE AVAILABLE ALSO ON SHORT NOTICE?

You can book online up to two days before the first day of the rental period. This lead time is required for us to prepare and service your equipment in time.

 

05 • WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE FOR AN ONLINE RENTAL? 

In order to be able to adjust your binding safely and in accordance with current ISO standards, we will not only require your first and last name, address, and email address, but also details concerning your body height and shoe size, your weight and date of birth. Should you also wish to rent equipment for your partner or entire family, please make sure to provide their data too.

 

06 • WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR ONLINE BOOKINGS? 

The payment methods available for online bookings are credit card, PayPal, or direct bank transfer. Card types accepted are Mastercard and Visa.

 

07 • WHAT IF I NEED THE EQUIPMENT FOR LONGER THAN I HAVE BOOKED IT FOR?

Of course, you are allowed to keep your equipment for as long as you need it. You will be asked to pay the remaining amount upon return of the rental. This does not affect your 10% online discount.

 

08 • WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO IF I WOULD LIKE TO SWAP SKIS FOR A SNOWBOARD, OR VICE VERSA, DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD?

If you would like to switch between ski and snowboard equipment, just let us know at the time of booking which equipment you are going to need first.

 

09 • CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING AFTER COMPLETION?

If you would like to change your booking, such as the date of rental or pick-up location, after you have received a confirmation of booking, please email us at reservierung@patscheider.com or contact us by contact form. We will gladly provide further assistance.

 

10 • HOW DO I FIND OUT WHETHER MY BOOKING HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED OR NOT?

Once your booking has been completed successfully, we will send you a confirmation email. Please check your spam folder if you have not received an email. If you still cannot find it, contact us by email at reservierung@patscheider.com or by phone at +43/5476/6202-510.

 

11 •ARE SKI POLES INCLUDED? 

Yes

 

12 • HOW DO I GET TO ENJOY THE FAMILY PACKAGE?

You can enjoy the benefits of our family package if both parents rent their skis or snowboard with our ski rental in Serfaus. In this case, your children up to the age of ten receive their equipment (skis, boots, poles, and helmet) for free. The deal is also available online, once both parents have registered with our system and completed their booking.

 

13 • WHAT IS THE NOMINAL FEE FOR?

The nominal fee of 10% of the rental price is charged for protection against damage and breakage. In the case of theft, please file a report with the police. The excess will be determined by the equipment category: € 220 for TOP Class equipment, € 360 for VIP Class equipment, and € 400 for SUPER VIP Class equipment.

 

14 • CAN I CHANGE EQUIPMENT DURING RENTAL? 

TOP Class equipment may be changed only once during the rental period, VIP and SUPER VIP Class equipment may be changed once a day.

For every further change we are obliged to charge a fee of € 10.

 

15 • DOES THE RENTAL PRICE INCLUDE SERVICING OF MY EQUIPMENT DURING RENTAL?

All skis and snowboards are fully serviced before every new rental. The desired equipment will be handed to you in top condition.

The rental price includes one further service with base repair, edge sharpening, and waxing. Each further service will be charged.

 

16 • WHEN WILL THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT BE READY FOR PICKUP? 

If desired, you may pick up your equipment from 3 p.m. on the day prior to the beginning of your rental period at the shop specified.

 

17 • DO I GET A REFUND IN THE CASE OF ILLNESS OR INJURY?

Yes. We will refund the remaining rental period upon receipt of a medical certificate.

 

18 • IS IT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL A BOOKING? 

Should you have serious reasons to cancel your holiday, such as an illness or bereavement, we will refund the full amount.
