Instead of the normal fixed runners, the Snowswinger C3 has runners which tilt to the left and right, and the hard wooden seating we have all become used to, has also been replaced with a tilting, contoured construction. Steering is achieved by movement of your body weight on the seat causing the toboggan to tilt, and is relatively easy. Lean to the left, with your left foot raised, and you will turn to the left. Lean to the right, with your right foot raised, and you will turn to the right!

Through this new design, a totally new tobogganing experience has been achieved. With a little practice, linked downhill turns are possible. This original and innovative piece of equipment has almost gained cult- status! and with its stable design quality construction has received many design awards.
